Itch
Wings In The Night

In the slumberance of the night
After the passing of the light
I spread my wings in flight

Sweet Gabrielle, sweet delight
Ever so pleasing to the sight
True blue eyes that look so right
Why do you look so uptight?

Sleep evades her at twelve midnight
Dreamless while trying as she might

I take her at the neck
Take her gently slowly, drinking
Drinking of a life that is shrinking
Sending her to bed just a little paler
Suckling her to sleep a little fairer

I fly away, a mosquito in the night.
