Lachdanan Aventail
Veil Of SteelI was once Lachdanan
I served a good king
Leoric was his name
And great was his fame
Under his banner I fought
Thus was my honour bought
By sword and valour in crusade
For love of Tristram by the glade
But a curse was laid upon us
And souls of men fell in shadow
Enchanted by fey arcane desires
Death and fire came upon the shire
I fought to prevail
Sought aid to no avail
I too succumbed to the devilry
My liege driven to ague and madness
I hide behind the veil of skin
That was once a hero's face
But now a mask of pallid disgrace
And continue to stalk the shadows
Seeking golden salvation or an end...
I now lay my blade to wait.

Nature Plea
The Lost PageThis is my nature
This is my nature to be
This is my nature to be me
All these years I stumbled and bled
Because I would not suffer to be led
I cannot save me
All I can do is but stray
I just cannot break away
I just cannot walk the steps
I just cannot follow the line
Lashed to the rest of all of me
The sword grows heavy in my hand
The sword grows heavy in my heart
My blade can be broken but not cast away
The dull shard of a maimed brilliance
Where ancient dragon roars
I followed only my heart
Down a road in wilderness
Through a vale of darkness
Where I lost the anchor
That keeps all of me
From falling away
I failed to be who I needed to be
Because I cannot fail to be me

Rest In Pieces
Endless RushThe police told you to get down
Your mother told you to get down
And you did ---
Off the other side of the ledge
Right over the edge
You always said
"Never go bungee jumping without a rope."
You just did it, Nike style
A broken heart can't be that bad
Maybe just a little tad
But your heart already died
The moment she left you for Dick
That day you answered the phone
The second she hung up
You just went down
Why are you rushing down?
Where do you think you are going now?
Are you killing the pain or is it killing you?
Do you still love fast thrills
Now that you accelerate at that rate
Down away from cruel fate?
It seemed ages since you hit the pavement
But why do you still feel no conclusion?
Your fingers were long dead cold
But why do you feel like burning?
Your soul fell past that explosion
Flesh and bone in bloody motion
You have just begun the transition
Hurtling through the endless stratosphere of hell
Eversince the time you fell
Off the edge and into the fire
You will never stop falling since you jumped
God told you to get down.

A World Of Hate
Sum Of FuryEquating pain and strife
The subtraction of trust
Multiplied by betrayal
Factor X malice
Substituted by Y units of envy
The subtraction of trust
Multiplied by betrayal
Plus 10 long years
Measured in bitterness
Calculated in darkness
= Negative equity
I follow my balance sheet
Searching for some restitution
Written down on my constitution
Savage formulas cross my head
As I strike out the names in red
Graphing up the sumation of hate
Matching the figures that twist my fate
But I'm just a fraction of a greater hate
The world does naught but spill its own tears
Where the fathers beat their brats with broken chairs
Where the brats chase girls and dogs to pull their hairs
Where girls execute their dolls and dogs grind bones
Where old housewives throw sticks and stones
At Blacks and Jacks who beg for alms and scones

Spook
Whuthering Heights For SaleThere's a face in the mist in the cold dark night
And the fluttering of tattered pieces of a soul in the wind
And the sound of little piano keys playing in the mind
And a crescent dagger shinning from under a dark shroud
But it's just the moon smiling underneath a cloud
There's a howl in the air like insane spirits rushing off a cliff
Like a swift black cart drawn by four nightmares
Or a sudden speeding freight train shrieking ablaze
Where are you my one and only dearest true love
Where are you hiding like a meek and gentle little dove
Are you still out there singing dancing crying in the rain
Running without your shoes somewhere on the moors
There's sweet Catherine Earnshaw singing her heathen song
